Whistleblowing . . . - October 24, 2016

I'm sure we are all becoming more and more aware of
 what whistleblowers' have been trying
to tell us for some time now . . .

Must be time for a protest song!
and sing along with the lyrics . . .
Whistleblower ® Barry Charles         APRA/AMCOS id  GW40734005

We won’t tell you this, we won’t tell you that
You can look at this - don’t look at that
governments come, governments go
There is so much they don’t want you to know

But now some one has opened the book
Now we can all take a good look
Security threats were a thinly veiled disguise
Must hide those files from prying eyes

From lips that were sealed, now all is revealed
For those in high places now some have red faces
Spying on allies, treating them with disdain
Power and arrogance has only bought you shame

Somebody has shown us what’s been going on
Justifying feelings that something was wrong
They want to silence the man who switched on the light
Isn’t freedom of speech a basic human right?

. . . and you can listen to a another version, recorded live with the Deeper Beat
on my latest CD online >
